If you choose to take a job with a low hourly rate plus tips then you need to be prepared to not get tipped sometimes. I waited and bartended for years and the income is good even if I got stiffed.

I think everyone is missing the point of the customer. when you door dash groceries the cost of every item is inflated to pay for the service. the store is the one to blame.

Every time I see something like this I think about how in Japan it’s considered rude to tip. If I don’t wanna live off tips, I’m not going to apply for a job that revolves around tips imo🤷🏼♀️
