My hometown in Sask - a small village - hasn’t had potable water for over a decade! It’s not just First Nations that do not have access to safe water. It’s a nation wide issue I’m sure.

I don’t know about anyone else but this comes on the heels of a substantial property tax increase for me—I would think we could at least expect proper maintenance of most necessary infrastructure

I maintain and pay for all my own water. When it quits coming to the house ,it’s all on me.never been with out excellent drinking water in 48 years.when you rely on others you will be let down.

Sadly, Calgary’s Water also feeds adjacent small towns! It’s sad that this happens but one must adapt. Calgary’s growth is crazy.

Yes!! everyone in Canada SHOULD have access to clean drinking water. This water main break is just a short-term inconvenience. First Nations communities have been pushed aside for too long.

Please understand people pay 10’s of thousands per year in property taxes & water bills. They can’t accept anything but a 100% functioning system. The system is very well funded by users yet neglected

Stuff happens. My mom is in Rethymno Crete greece and they didn’t have water for 3days. Imagine not being able to take a shower. They live off of water bottles so that’s not an issue if you stick up
