My cousin just came back from a day trip with her 9yr old horse crazy daughter. and they had an absolute blast! Honestly what people don't know/understand they make up 💕

Appleby is a amazing event - which is basically one large family BBQ unfortunately has a really negative view from people that haven’t actually been and don’t understand the culture - I love Appleby

My grandad took me to Appleby every year since I was a child, the best times! Not dangerous at all it’s about as dangerous as going shopping at Asda 😂

they're actually asking if anyone knows a guy that worked his horse to death at the event but just before the actual fair . so not everyone treats them right 💗

They are talking about the horses because unfortunately the police are looking for a traveler who worked his trotting horse to death at Appleby. The other travelers are appalled at this cruelty

Appleby itself was great before they started bringing buses full of tourists and people that have no idea about horses. Like how many years was it fine down the flash then they put all the barrier up
