I work for film festivals and they have a similar rule. If you are going to get star struck then this isn’t the job for you. Trying to get around it is a neat idea, but I can see why they let you go.

I use to work for security events at San Diego I never had that issue. probably HR is just mad because probably she liked swift and you got to see for free pluss getting payed for it lol

Security only work per shift as contractors. You can’t really get fired, as you’re not on a weekly wage. You just don’t get offered more shifts.

my job does this but I serve the musicians and their families , I was gonna just post the background stuff of doing banquets for them but they said I'd get fired so no content from me about that 😭💔

That’s absolutely crazy. In Nz it’s always recommended to vibe with the crowd while doing our job. You can’t turn around and watch the artist, but you can 100% sing along.
