I think British English is taught as the "proper" English all over Europe, but most of us use a mix of at least BE and AE, due to a lot of popular media being from the US😅

Yeah, it's always British English that's taught (as a second/third language) everywhere I know😅 As a bonus, some counties will teach a couple different accents, if they're feeling fancy!

I am from Norway, my accent is a mix of brit and American and it changes from who I talk to, like my accent change from who I speak to because I learned most through online and movies/shows.

Aus has quite a few sister schools in Japan so there's a lot of short term learning exchanges. so not only are they learning Aussie English it's often RURAL Aussie English
