All entries in the Archive's Stride Guide are assigned a Hazard Class rating to denote the level of danger they pose to striders who encounter them - Blue, Yellow, Red, Black, and Quarantine. Blue class entries for locations, entities, or organizations pose little danger and can be visited without fear or an overt need for precaution. In many cases, the visiting Strider is the most dangerous party involved - please use caution when visiting Blue class entries to avoid causing accidental harm. Yellow class entries possess dangerous attributes without being inherently hostile - standard precautions should be taken. Your world, planet Earth within universe A-0001A, is a Yellow class location. Red class entries are inherently dangerous and possess a higher-than-average level of active hostility towards travelers. Thorough precautions should be taken before visiting, and the ability to defend yourself is a must. Black class entries are extremely dangerous and often overtly hostile, & should not be visited without rigorous preliminary study and preparation. Please consult with Archive experts before attempting travel to a Black class entry. Quarantine class entries are the most hazardous, and should not be visited or interacted with under any circumstances. Locations, entities, or organizations that have been Quarantined are often actively malicious and extremely dangerous, usually seeking to inflict harm upon any that encounter them AND spread beyond their current environment. The Archive's Stridegates will NEVER take you to a quarantined entry, but you may come across them should you stride between universes using a different travel method. As such, we believe that all striders need to be informed and aware of these malignant hazards lurking throughout the vast & varied multiverse that we all inhabit.
