Question: At what age do you go from, “You’ve asked the right girl” to “ You’ve asked the right lady”? 😉

what about lost or repressed memories of a traumatic event. I was beaten unconscious at 8 y/o. Years later my sister told me about it but I still can't remember. Had PTSD for decades, didn't know why

Can a traumatic event make you forget nearly all memories prior to the event or could that be caused by stress over a period of years?

Love Ur videos. With this, does a brain become more tolerant the more traumatic experiences it has, allowing it to reduce the calcium that goes into the hippocampus?

oh this makes so much sense! the amygdala having more detailed memories of traumatic events explains why one can have emotional flashbacks with no real memory attached. that's so interesting

Is this knowledge included in police training? Many treat victims as liars or crazy if their memories of what happened aren’t perfect.

Btw, it was great to hear your life story, to me at least. Because I would've never thought that I could relate to you, in the sense that now you give an impression of someone who always had life...1/

Can you explain what this kind of severe and complex trauma (g3n0c!de against p4l3st!n!ans) would do to the survivors? The ones living it and we the witnesses?

I recently saw someone say that Statins can cause dementia since they lower cholesterol which is what covers the myelin sheath. Any truth to that?

Are there any medications that can help with reducing trauma symptoms and/or associating the traumatic memories?

Childhood amnesia is also a factor in fragmented memories. People lose narrative structures of memories before 4-6 to a large degree, but still retain sensory or emotional fragments.
