@anna_louisa_at_home: DIY bug repellent 🍋🌿 I gave these a go after seeing them all over tiktok. I was sceptical at first as I didn’t think they would give off enough scent but I can confirm they do and they smell lovely! They would make the prettiest centrepieces too if you made a few 😍 I will definitely be using these when we eventually have nice enough weather to host some bbqs! Here’s how to make them: 1. Find a mason jar (I recycled an empty coffee jar) 2. Add sliced lemon and/or lime (I used 2 sliced lemons as the jar was quite large) 3. Add 2-3 sprigs of rosemary (basil or lavender would also work) 4. Add enough water to fill to the neck of the jar 5. Add 10-20 drops of lemongrass or citronella essential oil 6.
