I honestly don’t even know where to start with this one. After three weeks of 3D printing, sanding, painting, and staring at lines of code until my eyes crossed, this was supposed to be the "final test." Everything looked perfect on the bench. The servos were calibrated, the power supply was stable, and the movement smoothing algorithm was supposed to make him look lifelike. Well, I guess "lifelike" is subjective. At first, it was just a small jitter in the X-axis—nothing a little PID tuning couldn't fix, right? But then, the feedback loop started to amplify. Within three seconds, we went from "gentle nod" to "full-blown exorcism." I tried to reach for the kill switch, but the G-force was already snapping the PLA plastic. You can literally hear the moment the main neck bracket gave up on life. That distinct CRACK is the sound of 40 hours of work and $50 in filament vanishing into the void. The worst part isn’t even the broken parts; it’s the fact that it maintained eye contact with me the entire time it was destroying itself. I am terrified. I am broke. And I am going to need a lot of glue. Hashtags: #animatronics #robotics #fail #engineeringfail #PaidPartnership
