God really answers our prayers for true godly friendships😭. Don’t lose hope. All my life I felt rejected, hurt & abandoned by “friends”. After that, I would always joke around and say “friends? what friends? I don’t have any of those.” Until a few years ago when God revealed that I had been speaking death & word curses over something my heart truly desired😩… something He desired for me. Because God is a God of community. He never intended for us to do life alone. Ever since God brought @Angel Ann Lyte into our lives 2 ½ years ago, we always say He sent us a literal ANGEL. She truly lives out the meaning of her name. Throughout the entire pregnancy with Amari, with all the sickness & hardship I endured, she had been here for us every step of the way. Right alongside my parents, she was the only other person we could count on to be there no matter what. Eternally grateful for that😭 Every single week she was at our home, whether helping with the kids, feeding us, having bible study, washing/doing my hair, wiping my tears, holding my hair back when I would vomit, praying with me to get out of the darkness of prenatal depression, and sooo much more. Not because she was getting anything out of it, but purely out of love🥲. I’ve never met someone who loves as deeply as this woman loves, who serves & honors as she does, and is as crazyyyy in LOVE with Jesus as I am lol. She will serve and love on strangers as if they are her own family. Even those the world would deem as “unlovable” or “unworthy” she pours the love of Christ over them, without hesitation. So, when praying about what Amari’s name should be… it was a no-brainer. Amari means “promised by God” and Angel means “messenger of God” Our prayer is that he would always be a messenger of God, leading the lost to Christ.. and also, that he would love, honor, serve and pour into others the same way Angel has. Just really being a full reflection of Jesus🥹.
