my 13 year old daughter was told she can take her insulin in the disabled loo at school, she proudly told them no and that if people don't like it they don't have to look!

My dad went out for a dinner with my mum, done an Injection and the woman nearby saw and asked him how he can do that. My dad said, he’s not risking his life for anyone who isn’t comfortable.

I've been type 1 for 37 years and growing up my mum would give me my insulin in public if needed. We used to get funny looks but my mum would always say 'don't ever be ashamed of keep yourself alive'.

I went to do my novo rapid in my own home last week and had visitors and was asked to leave my own front room by a guest in my house 😂😂😂

we're almost 2 months into 6yo being diabetic and we've been using his pen all Iver the place. Ive noticed a few double takes out the corner of my eye but no funny ones yet thankfully 😬
