Played Palia since day one and ended up stopping. You’d make a call and end up waiting way too long for someone to go across the map to the next region and across that. Became so boring just waiting

IDK if it'd work, but maybe make item spawns/loot completely player based (like we can both mine the same rock) but make it so those spawns happen at different rates for different people?

😓🙄 GW2 solved this at the start by allowing each person a copy of the node to harvest to there's no fighting, you have to reward players for coop playing not have mechanics that offer share=no bonus

1. spawn more resources 2.require people to cut down trees or stuff together... 3. multiple the resources gained if done in coop

Two easy fixes, at least short term - when you mine/cut with others, you get more stuff. If a resource is mined solo, it respawns quicker (or is still visible for other players)

I gave up with Palia not even ten minutes in! just no direction for me! and this reminds me of runescape - just with microtransactions! I want a Cozy mmo just without them..

What a bizarre take. Especially since the only resource you would wait on is a flow tree and you can grow them on your plot. Palia is 100% not even close to toxic

I preregistered for it and tried it, but I quit it immediately. It felt like a Roblox ripoff of Stardew mixed with Minecraft and Animals Crossing.

I didn’t know you were suppose to wait for other players about resources. I rarely need to gather and didn’t realize it was taking long to respawn.
