@birdladydrin: COME BACK!! 😭 . . It all happened so fast!! My hummingbirds have been extraordinarily shy this season, so this was an exciting moment! I remain hopeful they'll warm up to me soon. I just have to keep trying! Nectar recipe: 1 part sugar added to 4 parts water. I usually add one cup of sugar to 4 cups of hot/boiling water (heat helps the sugar dissolve faster).
