Making a teen pay rent is only okay if you’re saving it for them, otherwise it’s insane. Speaking as a teen who paid rent and never saw a penny of it back 👍 my mom’s dealer sure did tho!

nta parents alot of the time will consider "respect " to be listening to them unquestioned and without hesitation... we would never treat another adult that way.. that is not respect it's controlling
