So my parents got married in 86. They then separated in 88. Got divorced in 98. My egg donor got remarried in 99. She never changed her last name in 99 and kept the last name from 86 marriage. (1)

I’m over here unpopular opinion. Never changed my last name when I got married. My kid has her dad’s last name. Many friends that have gotten divorced, took their maiden name back.
