A similar candy bar from the UK known as curly warly. Marathon Bar Caramels (9) 1/2 C. Milk Chocolate Form 3 caramel candies into 8 inch long ropes (make them smaller for easier handling). Lossly braid or twist together the caramel ropes; place on a baking sheet lined w/parchment and freeze for 30 minutes or till frozen. Before pulling the caramel braids out of the freezer melt chocolate. Pour the chocolate onto parchment paper so its easier to dip the braids or however you find it easiest. Carefully take the caramel braids and dip, flip, drip, and put it back on your pan. Place candy bars back in the freezer for a few more minutes to set the chocolate. When chocolate has set enjoy! Store in airtight container in the fridge for a few weeks or in the freezer for a longer shelf life. (Recipe makes 3 Marathon Bars)
