What a great furry surprise while walking round Harajuku. 🦦They only accept walk-ins and no reservations but the wait wasn’t too bad. Choose 25 mins for 1700 yen ($10usd) or 50 mins for 3200 yen ($20usd). They provide lockers for your belongings and you have to put on their pink jacket, blue apron skirt-ish, house slippers, and a mask for safety. 🦦 I asked if I can remove my mask for photos and they were cool about it. Every few minutes the lady in the box with us would hand us treats to give to the otters. Then whoever has treats becomes King or Queen of the box for a hot moment. They’re so cute, silly, squirmy, and squealy! At the beginning, they were doing nonstop zoomies.
