Given the behind the scenes drama during the development of the game, I don’t see it beating BG3 as the best recent fantasy rpg. That said, I’m still happy for any Dragon Age.

I will hold hope till I play it. As an old Dragon Age fan, I remember ppl hating the art and trailers for borth DA2 and DAI. All 3 DA games look and feel different and I like them all ❤️

I’d caution against being pessimistic if you haven’t looked at the environments yet. They look great, which makes sense if we remember the perpetually moist DAI characters vs the environments
