have to be honest, most schools in the UK do some form of teeth brushing scheme, I was trained in the brush bus 🤣 I do quite like the concept, sadly alot of kids for many reasons don't brush at home

My son is starting school in September and my school offer tooth brushing club (not to replace tooth brushing at home) but to educate on why and encourage the children with their friends

As a teacher, I’ve already been in many schools that do teeth brushing (morning and again after lunch) due to such poor dental health in the area. Been doing it for years in every primary year group

My daughters nursery do this they all have their own toothbrushes and do it to a song after snack time. They even supplied parents with a toothbrush and toothpaste for home. My daughter loves it

We brush teeth every morning in Cardiff schools. Takes about 10 minutes for 1 x member of staff... Honestly, it is so important and is really very simple... Bring your cameras.. Come see...

Dental nurse here. This is so unbelievably necessary! The number of children I’ve been in my career with extensive tooth decay due to lack of affective tooth brushing is heartbreaking.

I can understand doing this in nurseries… but in no way should it be taught in older grades. However I do agree that teachers can explain why it’s import as part of PSHE lessons
