@epicgardening: One of my first gardens ever was a DIY hydroponic bucket where I grew some admittedly not so tasty cucumbers. As my space expanded, I drifted away from hydroponics, but recently tried out the Gardyn vertical hydroponics system, which is one of the better-designed systems I've seen in a while.
