Move all your plates and mugs to counter height so you don’t have to reach up to get them! Also book blowouts bc you won’t be able to wash your own hair for a while!!

Sleep in a reclined position so it’s easier to get up. Set an alarm for when your pain medicine is due for at least the first day so you don’t wake up in excruciating pain. Take your stool softeners.

I had air bubbles trapped under my skin for like a week after surgery that I could physically feel, pop, and HEAR move around. I was unprepared.

If you’re getting under the muscle then avoid lifting your elbows above your shoulders when washing your hair! Make sure you wear your compression garments/superior strap if they give you one.

Recovery time is serious. I’m 10 weeks out, have a 1 year old and own a butcher shoppe. I displaced mine by getting back to it too soon.

Get pillows specifically to sleep on your back. It is so hard to do but imparitive. I got capsular contracture from sleeping on my side so make sure this doesn’t happen! Also this is my spam hahaha

You will need somebody helping you the day of and 2 days after for absolutely everything! 1st time seeing them is a jumpscare, trust the healing process! Prep some meals/snacks for your recovery. ❤️
