@edgarsmission: Introducing the tough, tenacious, and terrific, Mr T! 💪 When this resilient ram arrived at Edgar's Mission, he had one of the most severe cases of Barber’s pole worm – a life-threatening parasite – that we've ever seen. His spine was a mountainous apex that ran the length of his back. From this was draped his matted and lice-infested fleece. Something that could not hide his more than bony form – every rib as visible as it was heart-breaking. But this was one tough little guy who refused to give up, so neither did we. Following a blood transfusion (thank you dear Lambini for being a donor), weeks of round-the-clock care and rehabilitation sessions, as well as lots of the sweetest of grasses and those dandelions and milk thistles he loves, Mr T is able to stand on his own 4 hoofs.
