This is our Meranaw repertoire, a cultural journey that honors the grace, nobility, and deep traditions of the Meranaw people. At the heart of this repertoire is the legendary Singkil, a dance that tells the timeless story of a princess gracefully moving amidst the clashing bamboos — a symbol of strength, poise, and resilience. Through the rhythm of the kulintang and the elegant movements of Singkil, we celebrate not just a performance, but the living heritage of the Meranaw — a culture of royalty, artistry, and pride. Every gesture, every sound, and every step reflect the dignity and beauty of the Meranaw identity that continues to inspire and connect us to our roots. We had the honor of performing this repertoire at the 7th Koryo Mindanao Summit held at the Tagumpay Theater in Tagum City, sharing the richness of Meranaw culture with fellow artists and audiences from across Mindanao.
