definitely don't go cold turkey lovely! it can be really dangerous, ice compresses can help but would definitely say express gradually 🖤

I had to go cold turkey at 5 months in as I had my appendix removed so during recovery couldn't feed but the way I managed it was by having one of the suction collection cups and just expressing (1)

Have you tried cold and flu tablets? They have an active ingredient in them that can dry up your milk supply. Xx

Please be careful going cold turkey ❤️❤️You might need to hand express a little to relief the engorgement if it's bad! 15 months is absolutely amazing well done 🥰🥰

When you stop breastfeeding it can mess with your hormones so just be prepared for that. I stopped night feeds cold turkey at 20 months. He was fine! Still fed in the day till 22 months. 😅

I found expressing a little every few hours and slowly spacing out those expressions over a week/two helped rid the pain. I only expressed enough to feel comfortable though I didn't fully empty x

put the cabbage in the fridge or freezer, I did it when my milk came in and was enlarged and painful, it did help. but it felt nicer when it was colder

Cold cabbage will help with the pain and swelling along with paracetmol so you don’t get a fever. It’s so painful!

I used cabbage and sports bra. but to be honest I also took cabergoline. took 2 weeks, not sure if the 2 pills actually helped

i would never breasdtfeed again it's beautiful but absolutely draining my sons 8 months and I haven't had a second alone im trying to stop now but he refuses a bottle 😭
