@canadiancarpenter: There’s actually 2 tips in this video. When cutting tji’s you don’t have to do any funky dipping and cutting down into the web to make your cut. Push down on the back of the saw and it will ride hovering until it hits the top cord. Boom done. Also helps the Makita have the 2 9/16th depth of cut. Next tip is a bit about efficiency. See how I am cutting and not dropping them on the ground or scattered everywhere. Stack it right away so you can walk away and deliver them as soon as you are done cutting.
