the reason swear words find their way out is because aphasia affects the left side of the brain and swear words are emotional. they are stored in the right side. same with rythem.

This is EXACTLY what happens to me when I get migraines, too!!! And then I can’t read or type words anymore, my arm and side of my face goes numb and about 20 min I have a full on raging headache.

I have them too! They are so frustrating! I know that feeling so well. Hemiplegic migraines. I have a text written out on my phone in case I’m at work and need to explain it to someone.

This has happened to me!!! I was having migraines like 1-2 a week and it wouldn’t let me find the word at all. I only have 1-2 a month now and it’s very slight now but definitely better.
