They say it’s a PZ but they also say that they were told they could keep him. No conservation or zoo authority would allow that. Especially if it’s a stallion that could help preserve its species.

iirc isn’t there also controversy w przewalski’s horses bc during their reintroduction they selected for specific traits and like artificially influenced the preservation of the genome to fit a standa
