I added this exact wording to my email signature and got in trouble at work. The owner of my company said that it was understood, didn’t need to be stated, and told me I needed to stay on brand 😂

worked with a guy that had this disclaimer. he was an upper hr guy. would email people at 2 or 4 in the morning. I respected that.

Just use the scheduled send feature. Even with the disclaimer, you’re still notifying the person, which can ruin their off-time. The more humane thing is to notify when they’re back at work.

Why don’t people just use the delay send function in Outlook to send at a reasonable time? Then you’re not even making your co-workers think about work after hours.
