Small decisions you make everyday add up more than you think. Before I became the person I am now, I was a shut in. I would lay in bed, eat frozen food, and go to sleep at 12am. I never woke up feeling good. I hated myself and I hated looking at myself in the mirror. When people asked me how my day went, I would try to brush it off because I found the way I lived my life embarrassing. Throughout my life, I would try to start working out, but I'd give up after only a week. I thought that living a productive life, being the person I wanted to be, just wasn't possible. During that time, I had somehow managed to get into a long distance relationship. It ended as fast as it started, and I started experiencing a lot of anxiety. It made me feel terrible — I already had low self esteem, but this was a whole new level of self-loathing. I didn't want to feel that way again, so I started doing the things I always wanted to do, consistently, because I knew sitting in those feelings wouldn't make things better. Now I do things in moderation. I still love gaming with my friends, I love binging a good movie, but I also love taking care of myself. I sleep earlier, I eat more nutritious foods, and I have more self love. One of the milestones that made me think

I sleep earlier, I eat more nutritious foods, and I have more self love. One of the milestones that made me think "wow, I've changed so much, I'm becoming the person I want to be" was when I had the confidence to download a dating app and go on dates. I met my current partner through there. There are so many things I still have to learn. But showing up for myself everyday has given me the momentum to keep doing things.
