@simplysanfordco: ✨Amazon Home Find✨ office edition! (🔗in my Amazon S.F. 🤌🤍) I’ve been seeing these office chairs with the extendable footrests everywhere and I HAD to try this one out. Not only is it perfectly neutral for my desk setup, it’s also so comfy and adjustable! I love how you can pull the footrest out when you want to use it and secure it back under the seat when you don’t. It also extends fully so you can have your legs straight out or use it like I do with my feet flat on the rest. It makes sitting for long periods of time so much more comfortable. You can even recline it as well! 10/10. . There are two ways of saying “bookstore” in Japanese! 本屋/honya and 書店/shoten are both “bookstore”. As talked about in this video, 本屋/honya tend to be used for speaking and 書店/syoten is for the official names of bookstores. 本/hon: book 屋/ya: shop 書/syo: write 店/ten: shop Take note that we don’t really say 本店 or 書屋 for bookstores. If you say 本店/honten, it could mean a different thing (本店/honten means “main store”). Anyway, let’s see how to used 本屋 and 書店 in the sentence. 本屋に行きます/honya ni ikimasu (Going to the bookstore) 書店に行きます/syoten ni ikimasu (Going to the bookstore) Both are correct, but the first one is more common in conversations. As I mentioned, 本屋/honya is more commonly used in speaking and it sounds more casual to me. Even if the bookstore’s name is ~書店, we tend to say 本屋. It depends on the person or situation, but this is the common way. On the other hand, how about the following examples?: なにわ書店/naniwa syoten: Naniwa Bookstore なにわ本屋/naniwa honya: Naniwa Bookstore Those are the names of bookstores but the first one is more common. 本屋 sounds too casual for the official names of bookstores. I hope it’s clear! Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read the description! I sometimes need time to complete one video since I need to go out and shoot for the content (cuts for specific Kanji). When it’s taking time since the last video was uploaded, I might be struggling to make the content lol. When it happens, please sit tight until the next one is up! #learnjapanese #studyjapanese #bookstoreinjapanese
