@jake.dearden: My off season goal: Run a sub 2:30 marathon 🏁 After analysing my races from a this past season, l've noticed fellow competitors running quicker times during the 1k efforts which is something I need to work on to get better so l will be undertaking the following strategy. A 2:30 marathon equates to 3:30 minute/kms for 42.2km. Funnily enough this is the same pace I need to be hitting when running in Hyrox. If I can get comfortable running at this pace for hours, it's going to benefit my hyrox times when the season starts again. I'll be doing this training block whilst still focusing on getting stronger and moving better supervised by my strength and conditioning coach Jonathan Bullough. 14 weeks to prepare for the Berlin marathon.
