You won't know if it spun exactly 180 degrees now though because you marked across the whole width

From start of my apprenticeship I use paint pen on every single bolt or nut I use. Makes it soooo easy

Tip for ya put the mark on the corners so if someone loosens a bolt and blames it on you, you can see the marks from the socket 👍
