Where I work, we have about 50 Teslas and Ionics that have been involved in an accident. They randomly catch fire, even months later.

They have city busses with tons of these batteries. Fire departments have no way of putting them out and they can burn for hours in a crowded city

That type of puncture could easily occur in a car accident. I’ve seen several Tesla’s incinerate after accidents in my city.
