makes me laugh that my gsx125 has a pillion seat. even if it was legal for me to have passengers i dont quite think it has the power😅😂

My 650 supermoto failed for no rear pegs, I’m not even insured to carry a pillion on my supermoto. Went home fitted the pegs and he passed it free of charge

My mates mt09 failed for not having pillion pegs with similar seat he ended up buying the cover that covers pillion part of the seat

Right if there is blank holes for for the peg hanger it’s an mot fail , I saw yours had blank plates , so it a pass

I’ve had my bike 10 years. It has a pillion seat pillion grab rail but no foot pegs. Has never failed a mot. Even my 1000r has no pegs. Never failed.

It’s a really odd rule - if you delete pegs, but there’s physicaly a seat it’s a fail but it you had a separate seat and you remove it and leave it open it’ll pass 😂😅 learnt the hard way on mt09

if your taking a pillion often look at the tracer pegs, they are lower and more comfortable

People saying about it must have pegs to pass, I’m intrigued how a enduro bike passes then? Because my logbook says 2 seats yet doesn’t have pavilion pegs none of them do

If a pillion seat is fitted it’s a requirement to have rear pegs, if removed it should be a fail.

If you have a seat with no pegs its a fail, if you have pegs and no seat it’s not 🫡

If you have a rear cowl/ replacement seat, then doesn’t make a difference whether you have pegs or not. If you don’t have a cowl. Then you need pegs 👍🏻

if it has a seat for a pillion then it's required to have the pegs I have failed a mot on a bike for that before the tester would have to be a asshole to fail it though

Pretty sure if u have pillion pegs they have to work but if they are not there then they cant test them so wont fail for not having any
