I straightened my hair to pin point straight and went out and some lady told me "silk press isn't for you." I've never had one in my life... I just put oil in my hair and straightened it..😐😂

see I have wavy hair (I know that’s not curly, I had curly hair) and my sister (who is black) got me a bonnet when I was a kid 😭 I still have it but I don’t know if it’s appropriate to wear it 😭

I toss and turn in my sleep all the time and it creates super bad tangles in my hair so I started wearing a cheap one to sleep in and I've noticed a difference, I feel like it can help anyone! (1/2)

Yea anyway so for the girls that do want to get into bonnets, you should get the ones with the long silk tie, it’s the only one I could get to stay on all night bc you can tie it down tight 🎀🩷

My problem is Ik im white but my hair is curly asf natural. It’s very damaged so it dries kinda straight at the ends but my roots are so curly it’s hard to maintain and make it look good, bonnet helps

not everyone needs it like I have straight hair and bonnets make my hair greasy because I have an oily scalp and I need to wash my hair more frequently and use less conditioner than someone with curls

ok wait genuine question. i do double dutch braids 24/7, would a bonnet help them not be frizzy in the morning? i use mousse on them which helps, but would it work? i don’t wanna spend my money if not

i have silk pillowcases bc when ive used bonnets they always fall off, but as a white latina w naturally wavy hair, i think that if ur using smth js to take care of urself, it doesn't matter much
