I have been told I have a meniscus tear but waiting for an mri, I injured my knee 3 months ago and was told it was a sprain but now I’m being told it’s a tear

No pain while twisting but pain during squatting, sitting with the knee bent and pain is right where the tear would be. No swelling but locking and catching at random times when that happens it’s the worst pain I’ve ever felt.

I can barely weight on my leg but I can’t lift my leg and my knee feels like it’s going to separate and locks up 😭

I am day 7 post knee injury. I don’t have an MRI until Monday. I am weight baring now but it’s swollen and sore and idk if I should be still using my crutches

MRI Scan in a week. Pain for a year. Physio and doctor suspecting torn cartilage. No giving way or locking just pain and fluttering sensation.

How do you differentiate between meniscus vs tendon injury or medial bursitis. I have severe medial pain, but also poplateal.

I know I have the first symptom and the only time I really know that my knee buckled is the first step I was able to take assisted. I as have swelling and think it’s on top of my knee

i feel shifting in my knee after ACL surgery after 5 to 6 months now but shifting feels a big real deal ....like when i stand up from sitting I can't walk until something shifts inside or else i feel

My leg is swollen above the kneecap. I fell over at touch football. I have no acute pain. I’ve just got a lot of fluid at the top of my kneecap. So range of movement is minimal. I’m icing and heating.
