I think charity work is a great example of doing work for free and if for a big charity it can still provide great exposure

As a graphic designer AND a mechanic, yes people do ask for free repairs. I actually worked for a non profit that did free repairs. It’s okay to help people when you can and it creates business

Yes, within reason. I've done numerous design work for charities and community groups. Not only does it help them, it also opens up potential clients.

I went to a talk with Paula Scher and she talked about the importance of working on free projects if it aligns with your beliefs and helps you develop as a designer especially for charities etc

I agree sometimes doing a free artwork for that one particular person wont hurt, few weeks back I did a poster for this other person, they posted here on tiktok and I got 2 paying clients from it

AI depends on huge KNOWLEDGE BASE. almost all AI uses royalty free assets. but now Adobe want to extend that. All your creative works will be labeled as royalty free with new contract.
