I have bamboo along the perimeter of my back yard. It's evergreen, it's no more invasive than several other choices would've been, and I ADORE it bc it feels sooo zen. And it provides privacy. 👍🏽🥰

Long time bambooer here, clumping is good, however, you need to maintain separation between it and things like fences, walls, walkways. It will build a lot of pressure and break those things.

isn't there a native bamboo you can use. I forget the name but it's actually endangered so if the is encroachment it's illegal for them to cut only thing they can do is put in a block to control it
