Draft the bodice by drawing a rectangle for the bust, marking the bust, underbust, and waist lines, and adding darts and cup shapes. Add seam allowances around the pattern pieces. Draft the skirt by drawing a rectangle for the waist and adding darts or pleats. Combine the bodice and skirt patterns, then cut the fabric. Sew the darts and bust cups on the bodice, sew the side seams, and attach the bodice to the skirt. Finish the dress with a zipper and hem.
