@ig_adelle: Squero Tramontin, one of the oldest squeri in Venice, has been a center for the art of gondola-making since 1884 and continues to operate to this day. This hidden gem will be featured soon on my next video, but until then, here are some interesting facts about gondolas:

💌Each gondola is around 11 meters long and consists of approximately 280 parts.
💌The iconic black color of gondolas was mandated by law in the 17th century to reduce competition among noble families and to symbolize elegance and tradition. 💌Each gondola is customized according to the gondolier's weight to ensure optimal balance and performance.
