@movewithjaade: I have always been active from a very young age. I spent my childhood at gymnastics training and competing. After I quit gymnastics, I was struggling with body image and recurring injuries. I didn’t understand the concept of moving well and sustainable training. I didn’t have long-term thinking and trained for aesthetics. In my early 20s, I discovered “movement”. For me, this ticked all the boxes, but I was still hesitant and feared injuring myself. For the first few years, I had constant niggles and flare-ups. I started to realize I had flexibility but not active mobility. I wasn’t strong or resilient in my full range, which caused most of my injuries. That’s when I began learning about mobility training and started to incorporate it more regularly into my sessions. This type of training, alongside strength and skill-based, has helped me completely change my body and the way it moves. Today, I’m pain-free and moving better than I ever have in my life, and that’s a pretty incredible feeling to have. My hope is to share my knowledge and learnings with people who want to feel strong, mobile, and resilient in their bodies. Is that you?
