Dumbbell front raise The dumbbell front raise is an isolation exercise that helps to work out the deltoid muscles effectively. In this case, the main focus is on the anterior bundle. Instruction • Starting position: the arms are lowered along the trunk hanging in front of the thighs. The dumbbells are held by the upper grip. With the right grip, the outer part of the hand is pointed forward and the fingers and palm are turned back. • Breathe out and simultaneously raise the dumbbells slightly higher than the shoulder line. • As you inhale lower your hands back to the starting position.
