@ericmattt: Filmed my last few months like a movie, PT 1 - It’s pretty cool how intentionally spending time alone in new places will allow you to hone-in on exactly what you want in life. But there’s a certain level of internal pushback when we transition to a completely new life for ourselves. Spearheading into something unknown, like building a nonprofit for overseas work, is a welcome challenge, but is actually pretty intimidating haha. But, I know the difference between succeeding with it and not is simply not giving up when things are tough or confusing. There’s always someone that knows the answer. - So far, the team with the Clean Village Project is getting bigger by the day (tiktok coming soon for that). I am so beyond grateful for everyone who believes in this mission. - I also find myself completely differentiating what I love versus what I simply like. What I LIKE takes the backseat - I.e surfing, music, climbing, skiing.. and what I LOVE is where my focus is entirely - I.e this clean village project and diving into the world of short films. - During rest, I do what I like. During my work and grinding periods, I focus on what I love. I think that’s a pretty sustainable balance, and it never feels like work that way. - Life is special.
