I do them all the time however I use setting lotion with leave in conditioner. I don’t leave it overnight I get under the dryer or use the blower to dry it.

Have you tried creme of nature’s line? That’s all I’ve used since I did a big chop in 2018. I know I have locs now, but I still use them on my son as well. They’re great!
