During the episode, the Temptations came over to Mary Jenkins apart, along with the help of her husband Lester to get freshen up after they apparently got into a little car accident. She would then, nervously asked the Tempts if they would like to perform at the church charity show and they agreed to do so. It almost didn't happen until their Chicago flight got canceled and they were able to perform for the charity. The Temptations performed their latest hit song at the time "Lady Soul" and their 1966 hit classic "Get Ready" to end off the episode.
