Ya When I had severe sore throat in US they took a sample then sent me home with pk. A few weeks later they said lab results says no infection. I already healed myself. Charged me $200.

I had to go to the ER in Hong Kong a few years back. They did a full examination with x-rays and medicine for a whopping $40 😱…. In the US it would have at least been $400 with no insurance.

等待也有等待的好处,像感冒你可能要等两三个星期,很有可能你在等待的过程中就已经好了😊

I got surgery in China. Not major but still. Was worried at first and now i always talk about how insanely good the patient experience is and how they use technology for everything. Really cool

Small stuffs like that is not bad. But when it comes to cancers and rare diseases…. It will bankrupt most of the household.

Better than Australia. You need to see a GP for a referral before seeing a specialist. Bookblike 5 days ahead to see a GP & 3 months to see a specialist. Go figure! An advanced country?! NOT!

My father in law used to run a hospital in his city in China before he retired, they can afford to live a decent life but not extravagant like over here. He was just paid for doing his job

I went to get an MRI in China. There was no one waiting. But what blew my mind is all the massage chairs in the waiting room for patients in case you have to wait. 🤯
