As a child of a rig parent, I wished my dad was home more growing up and even now. The money/trips/etc. are nice, but I’d prefer to spend time with him.. nothing beats having your dad home every night

My husband is home for 28 weeks. HOME, no call outs, no OT, no gone for the day at 5am and home at 7pm. We are debt free and cannot imagine living any other way. 1/1 is the dream.

I make 100k a block from home could be 200k in camp but I kiss my son goodnight every night. that's worth 100k a year easy. everyone's got different priorities. I'm raising my son not someone else.

Making $27 with benefits PTO etc working 45mins from home. But offered a job traveling $45 an hour with $160 per diem, company truck. Debating on doing it I’m having a baby next month.
