I am a labor nurse. I do this but I tuck the end piece up behind their back before the second arm. They love it.

When I baby was born prematurely we were taught by a physiotherapist how to wrap. A bit different to this - I hate seeing newborns not swaddled

If you turn it so that its a diamond shape fold down the top a little should be able to fold the bottom up.

nicu nurse, i fold one of the corners down to make a diamond first. then i fold one side then the bottom up then the other side ☺️

I think every baby is different and likes to be swaddles differently. Both my kids were swaddled different and loved being swaddled the way we did it... just depends on the baby

Correct way to swaddle is to only use a vest under the swaddle or no clothing at all. The wrap was perfect though ♥️and baby adorable.
