Well said, Canadian here & I have worked with unhoused people in a place where temps reach -50⁰ Celsius or lower in the winter & we still have people who won't come into the shelters 😢

People hv to give up all their belongings, pets, etc to stay in a shelter, other unhomed steal from them, the judgement, the fear they will be taken far away etc mental health is also a huge issue.
