@liftwithnic_uk: Fathers day - always a mix of emotions. I have posted videos like this before and I always feel nervous doing so - because you will always get the ‘why do you film yourself cry’ But how I started dealing with my grief was when I saw another girl, similar age to me, post a video similar to this. A person I watched for a few years and thought ‘she has her life together’ But in reality, you can have your life together, and yet still be falling apart on the inside. I have never been so happy & content in my life yet the black cloud in my life is the absence of my father. Because saying goodbye to your dad at 19 before your life really ‘starts’ is just too young But if a video like this can make 1 person feel less alone, or 1 person go to therapy or 1 person ring up their dad and say ‘I love you’ then it’s worth However you spent your fathers day - thinking of you 🪽 #FathersDay #deaddadclub #losingaparent #griefjourney #grieftok #griefandloss
